Gatherings that challenge the status quo, art that gives marginalized voices a platform, and celebrations that bring the North Country together.

Design note: The same template again, in orange. The Program Guide groups five programs here: Symposiums, Arts Inclusion, the Listening Series, the Speaker Series and Cultural Celebrations Support. Each one is an entry staff can edit without touching the layout, and the ones with recordings link straight to them in Learn.
ADI Symposiums
A community gathering that empowers residents, organizations and businesses to increase understanding and enact positive change toward a more welcoming and inclusive North Country: discussions, panels and workshops that challenge the status quo and encourage creative solutions, each centered on themes that reflect the needs of the region.
Arts Inclusion Initiative
Art raises awareness of the struggles faced by marginalized communities, challenges stereotypes and can dismantle harmful biases. ADI collaborates with artists and arts organizations to give marginalized voices a platform, including the “Welcoming & Belonging” mural by ADK ArtRise.
Listening Series
The practice of listening is fundamental to building understanding. ADI travels across the region to engage with residents and build personal connections. Listening sessions have been highly impactful, and ADI is committed to continuing them.
Speaker Series
Diverse and knowledgeable speakers from within and beyond the region, whose perspectives enrich discussion, challenge conventional thinking and educate audiences, encouraging dialogue and collaboration.
Cultural Celebrations Support
Celebrations help people feel valued and recognized in their community. ADI leads, partners with or sponsors celebrations throughout the region, to foster joy, raise awareness of community diversity and promote inclusivity.
