About concept B

The second of two design concepts Clearview built alongside our proposal for ADI's website RFP, from ADI's own published material.

What this is

A design concept, not ADI's website. It isn't official and it isn't a finished design. We built two concepts so that ADI's team can compare two real directions and pick one, or a mix of both, rather than react to a single option.

Two concepts, one proposal

How concept A and concept B differ
AspectConcept A: “Three doors”Concept B: “Program Guide”
Organised byWho is visiting: community members, people seeking resources, then partners, in the order the RFP addendum givesWhat ADI does: the three areas of focus, as the Program Guide presents them

Both use the same content, the same accessibility standard (WCAG 2.2 AA) and the same ADI + ANCA header lockup. Neither is a platform decision. Open concept A.

What it's made of

  • ADI's own words and photographs, from diversityadk.org, the program Google Sites and the ADI Program Guide, captured in September 2026. Nothing is invented. The event dates are ADI's published dates.
  • A map drawn from public data: county boundaries from the U.S. Census Bureau, and the Adirondack Park boundary from the NYS Adirondack Park Agency.
  • Barlow, a free typeface (SIL Open Font License), standing in for Geogrotesque, the commercial face in the Program Guide. Choosing between licensing Geogrotesque for the web and a free alternative belongs in the website plan. Barlow shows what the free route could look like.
  • No tracking, no cookies, no third-party requests. Every file is served from this address, and the forms send nothing.

What it is not

It is not the design we would deliver. The real one starts with listening: conversations with ADI's team and with community members ADI introduces us to, before any layout exists. A concept built from published pages can show structure and intent. It can't know what someone in Lake Placid or Plattsburgh came to the site to do, so expect both concepts to change once those conversations happen. That's the point of having them first.

We'll take this concept down whenever ADI asks.

Our proposal in one line

$22,500 all-in for the assessment, plan, design, build, migration of the four Google Sites, training and support through February 2027, with the first year of hosting included. The price is the same whichever direction ADI chooses.
